My Craftpath Journey
My parents, a toy designer and a teacher, turned scraps into art and cardboard into castles. Witnessing their resourcefulness, I started making my own toys at 3 with glue, paper and anything I could get my hands on.
Limited diversity in toys in my childhood weren't a limitation, but a launchpad for imagination.
This passion for crafting wasn't just fun, it was my emotional anchor. When frustrated, I'd create, finding solace and expression through making. I built my own world, defying stereotypes with my action figure dolls, nature exploration gear and mixed race dolls.
Now, as a parent, I continue this creative journey with my kids. We've built forts, sailed flower petal boats, and sculpted characters from anything we could find. Entertainment wasn't just screens; restaurants became origami studios with folded napkin creatures.
This is the heart of Craftpath: fostering appreciation for our world and ourselves through creative expression.
By seeing the potential in everyday materials, we can be more present, connected, and empowered. This is why Bloombies, our first product, is a platform for creation, not consumption.
